IFATSEA participated last 28 and 29 of June on the meeting in Eurocontrol for the closure of SESAR D3 and to launch D4.

More participation of ATSEP is needed.
The definitions of the project are becoming clearer as is the oposition getting stronger.
Talk about resistance to change!
The SESAR's consortium view on the future paradigm for Air Traffic Control in Europe is becoming aparent, as is the essential enabler for it......The ATSEP.
The introduction of a significant automation layer, maintained, developed, monitored...by ATSEP is raising natural oposition in certain quarters, but we cannot fail but see it as an obvious path for evolution as well as a great oportunity for all ATSEP.
The future is COLABORATIVE between Pilots, ATCO and ATSEP with increasing distribution of responsability.....but....attack the ATSEP and viability for the project is in question.....it is already hapenning.
- Download and read the relevant documents that are being uploaded, latest version will be online today in document center/SESAR.
- Participate in the discussion forum Eurogroup/SESAR.
- Give your contribution, be active we need more people in the workgroups.
- Get informed, ask questions in forum, register with the SESAR team to paticipate in the meetings.
