IFATSEA supports the European Research area in Aeronautics and Space. The ATENAA project is a R&D project funded by the European Comission under the 6th framework program, priority 1.4 "Aeronautics and Space".
Project aimed at addressing various key issues in the area of Mobile Comunication Networks and Optical Coms.
The ATENAA consortium compromises of several leading European companies:

The Project was presented at the last IFATSEA Conference in Miami USA in 2005. Director Europe Carlos Viegas , participated on behalf of IFATSEA in the annual in the Advisory Board.
