IFATSEA is the abbreviation of INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION  OF AIR TRAFFIC SAFETY ELECTRONICS ASSOCIATIONS.

IFATSEA was founded in october 1972 by 11 countries, today these number over 50 and the aims of the federation are:

• To promote safety, efficiency and regularity in international air navigation.
• Assist and secure development and professional efficiency among Air Traffic Services Electronics personnel.
• Protect and safeguard collective professional interests of Air Traffic Services personnel.

Every year IFATSEA organizes a General Assembly and two General Executive Board meetings , hosted by one of the member countries. Most of the work is done in the 4 committees :

• Professional Committee
• Technical Committee
• Administration Committee
• Human and Environmental Committee
